El símbolo del Cuervo, que lleva la marca desde 1795, representa el apellido de la familia. De hecho, los orígenes del tequila están ligados necesariamente a la familia Cuervo. Actualmente, José Cuervo cuenta con embotelladoras en el estado mexicano de Jalisco y en Estados Unidos, que tienen una producción de 230.000 litros al día.
